Government Official Is Elected To The Ranks Of Stanford Who's Who
Stanford Who's Who welcomes the Honorable Lynn Ellen MacLaren MLC to the ranks of leading professionals as a result of her sensational work in government.

FREMANTLE, WA, AUSTRALIA, December 24, 2010 /Stanford Who's Who/ -- Stanford Who's Who welcomes the Honorable Lynn Ellen MacLaren MLC to the ranks of leading professionals as a result of her sensational work in government. As a Member of Parliament of Western Australia for the South Metropolitan Region Legislative Council of Western Australia, Lynn has consistently demonstrated the vision, dedication and diligence necessary to be successful in the business world.

Lynn was elected to the Thirty-sixth Parliament for South Metropolitan Region on 15 February 15, 2005 to fill casual vacancy to May 22, 2005 upon the resignation of Hon. James Alan Scott. She was then elected to the Thirty-eighth Parliament for the South Metropolitan Region on September 6, 2008 for term commencing May 22, 2009. She is a member of the Standing Committee on Environment and Public Affairs. Prior to entering Parliament, Lynn served as Senior Policy Officer at the Western Australian Council of Social Service.

Among the duties of her position in office, Lynn has been responsible for legislation, electorate work, environmental improvement and impeding cruelty to animals. She has been the recipient of numerous honors for legislation and missions accomplished in social justice, community service, reform in climate change, housing, sustainable infrastructures and the environment.
