John Silence Recognized for Laud Professionalism in Land Management
For 40 years, Mr. Silence excelled in public land management, law enforcement, and natural resource protection
LAKEWOOD, CO, December 21, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ -- John Z. Silence, Retired Special Agent-in-Charge for the U.S. Department of the Interior Bureau of Land Management, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for showing dedication, leadership and excellence in law enforcement.
Having concluded a professional tenure that spanned 40 years, Mr. Silence's dedication stands out as the quality that he will be remembered for most. As a former special agent-in-charge, he formed a comprehensive knowledge of natural resources and investigations, and employed his understanding in overseeing 270,000 million acres of public land.
As a Cambridge Who's Who Professional of the Year in law enforcement, Mr. Silence's successes are a derivative of his communication skills and ability to create partnerships. He earned a Bachelor of Science in natural resources from the University of Wyoming as a predicate to his substantial and lengthy career. While enjoying his retirement, he continues to maintain affiliation with the Rocky Mountain Special Agents in Charge Association, the County Sheriffs of Colorado, and the National Sheriffs' Association.
