Solar thermal collectors offered by SunMaxx Solar, are now tested to withstand 130 mph winds.

BINGHAMTON, NY, June 18, 2011 /24-7PressRelease/ -- SunMaxx Solar continues to offer the highest quality solar thermal collectors, which are now tested to withstand 130 mph winds.

SunMaxx Solar TitanPower Plus SU2 flat plate and ThermoPower VHP 30 evacuated tube collectors have gone through rigorous testing performed by Architectural Testing, Inc. in York, Pennsylvania, USA. The collectors were mounted with SunMaxx Solar ConnectMaxx mounting hardware, and tested in various mounted positions. The results of the testing for both types of collectors, in all positions were outstanding, proving to withstand wind speeds up to 130 mph.

Both the TitanPower Plus SU2 and ThermoPower VHP 30 collectors are SRCC OG-100 certified.
