Paradise Laundry opens second location - residents in Roseville can now try eco-friendly Laundromat for free.

ROSEVILLE, CA, September 08, 2011 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Paradise Laundry opens second location - residents in Roseville can now try eco-friendly Laundromat for free. Kermit the Frog was wrong; it is easy to be green if you are in Roseville CA. It took two months and an extreme makeover to convert what was once Ascot Coin Wash into a new, state-of-the-art green Laundromat. Paradise Laundry of Roseville has opened at 105 Ascot Drive near Sunrise Ave. and Douglas Blvd. offering the latest in eco-friendly equipment that saves customers time and money.

Deborah Dower, owner of Paradise Laundry Inc. is so passionate about the benefits of washing green she is going to let customers do it for free during the month of September. Deborah explains; "When we opened our Citrus Heights location our motto was "Wash Green - Save Green TM", we encouraged our customers to wash with cold water which doesn't require natural gas to heat the water so we passed the savings on to them with our lower Eco Wash pricing. We quickly discovered however customers were hesitant to try the front load washers. For some it was habit but for most it was because the price was higher compared to a traditional top load washer." She went on to say, "The $5.00 price for an Eco Wash on our 50 lb front load washer may shock some however it holds five loads of clothes which averages only $1.00 per load, even better it uses a fraction of the water required to wash five individual loads so our Maxi front load washers are easier on the pocketbook and good for the environment."

Jim Dower, co-owner provides detail, "As with all front load machines our washers use one third less water and don't have the center agitator which can tear up your clothes. Our Dexter Express washers, which are made in the USA, spin at 200 G (force of gravity) extracting much of the water used during washing. This cuts the drying time by up to 33%, which saves our customers time and money and again reduces the consumption of natural gas used in the drying process."

When asked why Paradise Laundry even provides top load washers in their laundry Deborah answered, "The majority of self-serve laundry customers still expect to see top load washers when they visit a coin laundry. We are hoping once folks try the Eco Wash front loader for free they won't go back to using the top load machines. I look forward to the day when we can replace all of our top loads with earth-friendly front loading machines."
