Thermafiber Receives ED+C Readers' Choice Award
RainBarrier insulation chosen for sustainable attributes.

WABASH, IN, October 31, 2011 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Thermafiber, Inc. was awarded a 2011 Readers Choice Award from ED+C magazine. Thermafiber's RainBarrier, a mineral wool continuous insulation (ci), was selected for its sustainability and performance attributes.

RainBarrier is used in rain screen and cavity wall construction systems as the external insulation. The fire resistance, vapor permeability, moisture resistance and energy saving R-value have contributed to the acceptance of this product. Mineral wool is used as a replacement for foam and other combustible insulation products in facade and masonry construction. RainBarrier 45 is available with up to 90% recycled content.
