Heather J. Thomas Named a VIP Member of Cambridge Who's Who for Excellence in Environmental Science
Ms. Thomas has a strong belief that 'we won't have a better planet until we make it a better planet'

Thomas, Director of Fluid Environmental Services for Baker Hughes International, was recently named a VIP of the Year by Cambridge Who's Who. This special distinction honors individuals who have shown exceptional commitment to achieving personal and professional success.

As a director of fluid environmental services for Baker Hughes International, a position that she has held for eight years, Ms. Thomas specializes in environmental services. She prides herself on her ability to build up emerging businesses in the oil and gas sector of the industry. She is also responsible for overseeing strategy for the environmental aspect of the company, and monitoring trends within the industry, as well as handling all marketing and leadership matters. She attributes her success to her determination and ability to apply her basic knowledge. She became involved in her profession through her interest in the environment and her feelings of personal responsibility. Ms. Thomas received a degree from The University of Manchester in 1993. She is a Fellow of ISMM and received a Harts E&P Environmental Specialist award in 2010.
