Daniel R. Stern, Ph.D. Named an Energy Consulting Professional of the Year by Cambridge Who's Who
Daniel R. Stern has an expertise in green energy and mechanical engineering as well as power and utilities.
ROCHESTER, NY, May 4, 2011 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Daniel R. Stern, a seasoned energy conservation and system improvement methodologies consultant and owner of DRS Consulting, has been named a Cambridge Who's Who Professional of the Year in Energy Consulting. These special honorees are distinguished based on their professional accomplishments, academic achievements leadership abilities, years of service, and the credentials they have provided in association with their Cambridge Who's Who membership. Mr. Stern will also be featured in the upcoming inaugural issue of Pro-Files Magazine, a Cambridge Who's Who publication that will highlight seasoned members, as well as those new to membership, and will include engaging articles written with a focus on professional branding, leveraging strategies, networking, and innovative tactics for attaining success in today's increasingly competitive business world.
For the past 10 years, Mr. Stern has been working with clientele based in the power and utilities industries regarding energy conservation. He is a seasoned professional who has received national awards throughout his 30-year career. Currently, he consults on new boiler retrofits, automotive matters, system design, balance of plant equipment and high voltage issues. He also serves as Chief Stationary Engineer for the New York State Department of Labor. He recalls with pride his work as part of a team that reduced the cost of manufacturing for the Eastman Kodak Company. Attributing his success to his ability to work well with others, he hopes to be remembered as a mentor and educator.
Mr. Stern is the recipient of a Doctorate in the Philosophy of Mechanical Engineering and a Master of Business Administration from Suffield University. A member of the American Society of Mechanical Engineers International, he also received a certificate for his participation in the National Plymouth-AAA Trouble Shooting Contest, and is licensed in the city of Rochester and the State of New York in stationary engineering. He supports the Knights of Columbus. In the years to come, Mr. Stern intends to attain a director or managerial position at an architectural or engineering firm.
