Sue Gilbey Joins The Stanford Who's Who Community
Sue Gilbey has been accepted among the prestigious ranks of Stanford Who's Who as a result of her exceptional entrepreneurial effort.

ADELAIDE, SA, AUSTRALIA, September 8, 2011 /Stanford Who's Who/ -- Sue Gilbey has been accepted among the prestigious ranks of Stanford Who's Who as a result of her exceptional entrepreneurial effort. As a Social Justice Entrepreneur and Convener of Urban Ecology Australia Inc., as well as throughout her brilliant career, Sue has consistently displayed the passion, vision and dedication necessary to be considered among the best.

Urban Ecology Australia Inc. is an organization that exists to demonstrate and promote a more sustainable approach to the way we live, addressing the major issues of city living, such as climate change, loss of biodiversity, resource scarcity, and social equity. The organization's flagship 'Ecocity' development, Christie Walk, provides visitors with a tangible example of what is possible when good urban design is applied to the challenge of housing people in medium density near the city center.

Sue is a community activist, involved in numerous grassroots campaigns, and a passionate advocate for justice and equity both socially and environmentally. She has post-graduate qualifications in Applied Science and Senior Management and her skills include research, conducting interviews, broadcasting and public speaking, locally, nationally and internationally.

Ms. Gilbey was recently deeply honored to be the first Australian ever to receive the Bremen Peace Award, a very prestigious International peace prize, administered by the European Threshold Foundation. She is a member of the Human Rights Coalition, Global Sisterhood Network, Australian Peace Committee, and the Women's International League of Peace and Freedom.
